Welcome to the 31st AFC Conference

Dear friends and colleagues

After the twinned conference AFC – EAA almost 20 years ago, I am delighted, on behalf of the whole team who have worked to organize this conference, to welcome you all.

Please be assured that we will do everything possible to make this conference an enjoyable and fruitful occasion which will also allow reflection on the values that have always been those of our association: a lively exchange of ideas allied with scientific rigour on the topics presented.

No doubt there will be passionate and fascinating discussions on the theme of the crisis and questions around the theme of value. These will certainly provide the opportunity to raise new areas of research in our various fields of expertise: that of the real impact of the trend of “value relevance” in financial accounting, that of the range and the status of  management accounting in the face of environmental and ecological challenges, and even the new auditing skills needed in this complex world.
